You already do this with tape

Laying out a line with floor tape and cardboard is standard practice because it works. Standing inside a layout tells you things a drawing cannot. The problem is that taping a floor takes a shift, changing it takes another, and you can only do it in a space you have already committed to.

We project the same information, at the same scale, in a purpose-built studio. Reconfiguring a scenario takes minutes rather than a shift, so a team can compare three layouts in one session instead of committing to the first one that seemed workable.

  • Line and cell layout. Station spacing, work envelope, material presentation, WIP staging.
  • Reach and ergonomics. Whether an operator can actually reach the fixture, the bin and the tool without a step or a twist.

Can you project a manufacturing floor layout at full scale?

Yes. Line layouts, workcells, tooling positions, equipment footprints and aisle widths are projected at exact 1:1 scale onto the studio floor, so the engineering team can walk the layout and check reach, clearance and flow before anything is installed.

How is this different from CAD review or a digital twin?

CAD and simulation are excellent for analysis and stay in a screen. A full-scale walk puts the layout under people’s feet, which is where reach distances, pinch points, awkward turns and sightline problems become obvious rather than theoretical. Most teams use both.

What file formats do you accept?

PDF, DWG, CAD, Revit export and most common architectural and layout formats.

Can the whole engineering and operations team attend?

Yes. Sessions are private to your group and remote participants can join live. Getting manufacturing engineering, operations, safety and maintenance in the same layout at the same time is most of the value.
