Your plans. At full scale. On the floor.
Paper shows you lines. We show you the room. Here’s how a session works, and why it keeps projects on budget.
The four steps
1
Bring Your Plans
Send us your drawings in any format: PDF, CAD, DWG, Revit export, sketch. Our team prepares them for projection ahead of your session. No special prep on your side.
2
We Project at 1:1 Scale
Our full-scale projection studio projects your drawings onto floor and walls at full scale. You don’t look at a model. You stand inside the build. Rooms are the size they’ll actually be.
3
You Walk and Decide
Walk the space with your spouse, builder, architect, or designer. Test furniture placement with our 1:1 props. Move walls on the fly. Swap finishes. See what works before it’s framed.
Our augmented reality system lets you place furniture directly in your projected space. Have a piece you’re keeping? Send us photos and measurements ahead of your session and we’ll scan it in so you can see exactly how it fits.
4
Build With Confidence
You leave with marked-up plans, clear decisions, and a build team that knows exactly what you want. Fewer surprises on site. Fewer change orders. Fewer “I thought it was bigger” conversations six months in.
How long does a session take?
| Build type | Typical session length |
|---|---|
| Remodel / addition | 2 hours |
| Custom home (under 3,500 sq ft) | 3 hours |
| Custom home (3,500+ sq ft) | 4+ hours |
| Commercial / multi-tenant / event | 4+ hours |
We’ll recommend the right length on your discovery call based on project size and complexity.
What’s included in every session
- Full-scale projection of your architectural plans onto floor and walls
- A session lead who runs the walkthrough and captures notes
- Unlimited markup and revision during the session
- Augmented reality furniture visualization: place pieces in your space, or send us photos and measurements of an heirloom or existing piece and we’ll scan it in
- Furniture and fixture props (1:1 scale) for spatial testing
- A post-session summary with your plan markups, sent same-day
- Private studio: your session, your team, no one else
Why it pays for itself
5–15%
Typical change-order cost as a share of project budget. Some projects hit 25%.
$2,500
Average cost of a single change order on a residential build.
<1%
Approximate cost of a WYP session relative to total project budget.
Most change orders happen because something didn’t look right in 2D. We eliminate that risk before ground breaks.
One WYP session typically costs less than 1% of total project budget. It doesn’t need to catch every issue to pay back. It needs to catch one.
