About the Experience
What actually happens in a session?
We project your architectural plans onto the floor and walls of our studio at exact 1:1 scale. You walk through every room as if it’s already built. Rooms are the size they’ll be. Doorways are where they’ll be. You can test furniture placement, move walls, resize openings, and make decisions in real space.
Is this a VR or virtual walkthrough?
No. This is a physical experience. Your plans are projected onto a real floor and real walls. You walk with your own feet. No headset, no screen, no motion sickness. We do optionally use augmented reality to enhance the session, placing furniture and fixtures in your projected space in real time.
Do you have a wall display as well as a floor projection?
Yes. Our Elevation Wall displays 3D renderings, exterior elevations, and wall designs at scale. Use it to visualize your exterior, review material choices like cabinets, and see interior wall designs before committing.
How accurate is it?
Our projection is calibrated to exact 1:1 scale. A 12-foot wall is 12 feet. A 36-inch doorway is 36 inches. When you walk it, you’re walking the actual dimensions of your future build.
Can multiple people attend?
Yes. Sessions are private to your group. Bring your spouse, your builder, your architect, your designer, whoever needs to be in the room when decisions get made. Remote participants can also join live through our integrated video conferencing suite, so your architect in another city or family members out of state can be part of the walk.
How large of a project can you walk?
Our projection system covers approximately 3,000 square feet at a time. Larger projects are walked in sections. Most custom homes and commercial builds are completed in a single session.
What is the Vibe Board?
The Vibe Board is an optional interactive touch screen that lets architects, builders, and clients modify plans on the fly during your session. Mark up changes, add notes, and sketch directly on the projected plans in real time. When your session ends, everything captured is automatically sent to all participants. An additional fee may apply. Ask about it on your discovery call.
Booking & Logistics
How do I book?
Start with a 15-minute discovery call. We’ll learn about your project, walk you through the experience, help you book the right session length, and set up your account. Once your account is set up, you can book online anytime. Schedule a call
Why do I have to talk to someone before booking?
Because every project is different. A 1,200 sq ft remodel needs a different session than a 6,000 sq ft custom home. We want you to book the right length. Not too short, not too long.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking 2–4 weeks in advance once your plans are near-final but not yet bid. The best time to walk your plans is after the architect is done and before construction docs are signed.
What file formats do you accept?
PDF, DWG, CAD, Revit export, and most common architectural formats. If you’re not sure, send what you have and we’ll confirm before your session.
What are your hours?
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM by pre-scheduled appointment. Additional extended hours are available on request.

Is there parking?
Yes. Ample parking is available at our studio.
Do you travel to the project site?
No. Our studio is fixed in Wichita. But clients regularly travel from across Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Nebraska. The half-day trip to catch a five-figure change order is universally worth it.
Pricing & Policies
How much does a session cost?
Pricing is discussed during your complimentary discovery call. Every project is different, and we want to recommend the right session length before quoting. As a rule of thumb: one WYP session typically runs less than 1% of total project cost.
Why isn’t pricing listed on the site?
Because listing a number without knowing your project would be meaningless. We quote on the discovery call once we understand project scope.
What’s your cancellation policy?
Sessions can be rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance through your online profile or by calling us. No-shows cannot be rescheduled. We do not offer refunds. If you prefer, an account credit can be arranged for future services.
Do you accept deposits or full payment?
Full payment is collected at the time of booking. We accept credit card (3% processing fee applies) or ACH bank transfer. If your session runs over, you will be billed at the time of service for the overage.
For Professionals
I’m a custom home builder. How does this help me?
Two ways: you reduce change orders (protecting your margin), and you give your clients certainty, which shortens the decision cycle and improves referrals. Many of our partner builders fold a WYP session into their standard client onboarding.
I’m an architect or designer. Can I bring my clients here?
Yes, and many do. Presenting a concept at 1:1 scale wins the room in a way 2D elevations and 3D renderings can’t. Ask us about designer partner rates.
I’m a realtor. Do you have a program for me?
Yes. Our Realtor Partner Program gives your clients peace of mind and gives you an incentive when they book through you. Learn more
Do you offer commercial or event use?
Yes. Our studio is available for commercial plan walks, corporate visioning sessions, and immersive event rentals (including after-hours and weekends). Contact us directly to discuss your project.
Can you help with ADA or accessibility compliance reviews?
Yes. Because you physically walk the projected space, you can test real-world clearances (wheelchair turning radius, hallway widths, doorway accessibility) in a way that’s impossible to verify from 2D drawings alone. Our facility is 100% ADA compliant.
Other Services
Do you rent the space for events?
Yes. Our studio can be rented for corporate events, client experiences, immersive dinners, and private gatherings. The same projection system that walks your plans can project beach scenes, outdoor environments, or custom branded content.
Do you have augmented reality?
Yes. Our AR system lets you place furniture directly in your projected space during the session. If you have a piece you’re keeping or an heirloom with an irregular shape, send us photos and measurements before your session and we’ll scan it in. You’ll see exactly how it sits in the room before a single wall goes up.
Do you sell gift certificates?
Yes, gift certificates are available. Ask about them on your discovery call.
Do you work with commercial verticals (medical, restaurant, retail)?
Yes. Our studio has been used for medical office layouts, restaurant flow planning, retail fixture placement, multifamily unit mixes, and industrial walk-throughs. Contact us directly to discuss your project.
