Walk Your Plans studio session for builders & remodelers

For builders and remodelers

Move the hard client questions to before field work starts.

Your clients are approving drawings, making selections, and asking questions that are hard to answer on paper. A full-scale walk answers them in the studio, not in the framing. Have a question? Just give us a call.

"The earlier clients understand the plan, the cleaner the build conversation gets."

What a client session looks like

A client meeting that ends with real sign-off.

1

Send the plan set.

A PDF from your office is all we need. We calibrate it to true 1:1 scale before your client arrives.

2

Bring the decision-makers.

Your client, their spouse, and anyone else with a say. Sessions are private: your project, your people, no one else.

3

Walk selections and constructability.

Your client stands in the kitchen instead of pointing at it. Clearances, rough-ins, transitions, and finish decisions get resolved on foot, with AR placing furniture and selections at scale.

4

Leave with sign-off.

A marked-up plan and a same-day summary your field team can build to, from a client who has literally stood inside what they approved.

Who this is

You're a builder or remodeler with clients making decisions on paper.

Selections, change requests, and stakeholder opinions all land during the build when they are most expensive. A session moves them earlier.

Late-stage change orders

A client who walks the plan at full scale commits to it, so fewer decisions get reopened after framing.

Slow client approvals

Full-scale review gives clients the confidence to sign off faster and with fewer revisions.

Constructability questions

Walk clearances, rough-ins, and transitions before they become field problems.

Stakeholder alignment

Get spouses, partners, and decision-makers agreeing in one room instead of over email.

What a session does for you

Walk Your Plans studio session, builders & remodelers

When your clients should walk: twice, ideally

Once while the plan is being refined, when a change is just a revision to the drawings, and again for a confirmation walk before breaking ground. A client who walks twice signs construction documents having stood inside every decision.

Clients can walk roughly 2,000 square feet an hour. Most fit the 2-hour package, used as one session or split into those two visits. Larger homes and remodels fit the 4-hour and 8-hour packages, broken into segments as needed with a 1-hour minimum.

Why it matters

A standard residential build in the relevant CoConstruct tier averages 6.3 change orders, with total change-order exposure around $29,000. A client who has walked the plan surfaces those decisions in the studio instead of the field.

Builder questions, answered

How do firms use this?

As part of client onboarding, design review, and pre-construction sign-off. Some walk every client before construction documents; others bring in the projects with the most open decisions.

Who runs the session?

A session lead runs the studio, the projection, and the markup. You run the conversation with your client. You stay the expert in the room.

What does it do to my change-order load?

A client who has walked the plan commits to it. The decisions that usually surface during framing surface in the studio instead, while they are still cheap for both of you.

What formats do you accept?

PDF, DWG, CAD, and Revit exports. Send what your office already produces.

Can remote stakeholders join?

Yes. The Vibe Board brings remote participants into the session live, with the same plan in front of everyone.
